This 2 and a half hour experience delivers it by bucket load. Zapcats are a hybrid of the twin hulled catamaran, light weight and designed originally for surf rescue. These powerful boats literally leap into action and spend as much time in the air skimming over the waves as you do on the water. As the 75kg race prepared boat carves 180 degree turns your body will feel the force of around 3G!! With a power to weight ratio of 340bhp per tonne you are going to have an adrenalin pumping, action filled ride... not as a passenger but as a co-pilot as it is your responsibility to balance the boat for the turns! If conditions allow, the instructor may also give you opportunity to drive the boat yourself. Safety is paramount so before heading to the water the instructors will provide a full safety briefing and issue dry suits, lifejackets, helmets, boots and goggles.
