Your wine experience starts with Paumonok vineyards, the winery is a renovated turn-of-the-century barn. The spacious tasting room was built on top of the barrel cellar. It is surrounded by an inviting deck overlooking the vineyards. One of the standout wines is included in the book “1001 wines to taste before you die” enjoy an introduction to wine making and a tasting at this mainstay of Long Island wines. Next Stop Macari Vineyards, here you can enjoy a wine discussion and tasting with one of the true experts from Macari, we can learn how they are on the cutting edge of viticulture and are dedicated to a more natural approach to winemaking. Joseph Macari, Jr. is recognized as a pioneer in the movement towards organic and sustainable farming. Macari's airy Tasting Room andWinery is our perfect setting. After a short break we continue to Martha Clara where you'll enjoy a picnic lunch together with tasting, this is one of the oldest and respected wineries in Long Island winning awards annually for the last 10 years. After lunch head West towards the Tanger Outlets where you can pick up our mall goodies and – find your own bargain with brand name stores for less. In the late afternoon you'll arrive at your hotel in Riverside. After a short rest head out to the beachfront of Westhampton one of the local mecca’s of nightlife! Stroll along the beach, enjoy a relaxing dinner at one of the many restaurants along the beachfront or try some celebrity spotting at the local nightclubs. Overnight: Riverhead – Best Western East End. Day 2 - You will begin to appreciate why the rich and famous chose to make Long Island their own personal playground when the scenery transforms from tall buildings to magnificent landscaping and gorgeous flowers in the springtime. Stop at Riverhead for a warm and typical country breakfast, and then continue East past the Long Island Duck before arriving to the famous Southhampton where residents such as Jerry Seinfeld, Paris Hilton, David Letterman, Steven Spielberg and others have made it their home. This is definitely the place to see and be seen! Start the tour strolling down the picturesque main street, before heading down through the historical area the harbor and along ocean drive, passing some of the homes of the rich and famous along the way. After you've had your fill of the rich and famous, continue to Sag Harbor a picturesque and quaint town that invites its visitors to enjoy it’s unique atmosphere. Take your time to tour the harbour and see the yachts that are the toys of the rich, then stop at the antique stores or the old world shops for some real bargains.
